Computer literacy is the knowledge and ability to use computers and technology efficiently. It is considered a very important skill to possess. Computer literacy can also refer to the comfort level someone has with using computer programs and other applications that are associated with computers.

Selected students are provided with basic course in computer training by PREF. This course is divided into separate modules: Computer skills; Word & Excel Processing Skills; Web/Internet Skills; E-Mail Skills.

These students are motivated to use computer. It helps in learning new skills and is a source of vast information related to academics and career training. They are encouraged to use it to gain information regarding the careers they are interested in and to find out the latest development in their field of interest. PREF provides this computer course free of cost to students.

A continuous use of this medium helps them to get into the habit of using computer and internet for enhancing the education and acquiring new skills.
